House League Information

Thorold Legion Minor Baseball offers house-league divisions for 5U, 7U, 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U, 18U

House-League is designed to be developmental and recreational in nature.  Players in 9U-18U will typically be on the field 2-3 times per week, participating in a mix of practices and games. 5U and 7U players will play 1 time per week and against other Thorold teams.

9U to 18U play within the Niagara District Interlock.  Thorold teams will play against other centers like Welland, Port Colborne, Fort Erie, Pelham, West Niagara, Grimsby and in some divisions, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.

Dependent on registration numbers, we intend to run a Select Program in some divisions.  Learn more here:

All players in Thorold House-League will receive a jersey and hat with their registration.  Teams are generally comprised of 11-13 players with 3-4 coaches.  In divisions where there are more than 1 House-League team, evaluations will take place before the season starts and players will be split between the teams with the aim at maintaining competitive balance.
